Standing in the Path of Wrath

For Believers in Jesus Christ....that is, those who are obedient to Him and follow His call....the following statement written to the church at Rome is of no concern. However, there is a very large segment of population that is standing in the path of God's wrath.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. Romans 1:18-19.

Most folks will not express a belief in God simply because unless they have seen, they cannot believe. These are not the only people who have this attitude of 'seeing is believing'. Thomas, one of Jesus' disciples, could not believe without seeing and Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen Me, have you believed ? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed." John 20:29.

Secular Humanists involve themselves inside many churches and some are standing in their pulpits, teaching from God's Word that which serves them best. We call them liberals because they have changed the truth of God's Word into a lie. God simply uses the term 'unrighteous'.

Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you they are leading you into futility; They speak a vision of their own imagination, not from the mouth of the LORD. "They keep saying to those who despise Me, 'The LORD has said, "You will have peace"'; And as for everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart, they say, 'Calamity will not come upon you.' Jeremiah 23:16-17.

The stench of human depravity is all around and cannot be covered, but the sad truth is there is no effort to hide the acts of those multitudes who are participants. Apart from that, there is no place to hide.

'For My eye will have no pity on you, nor will I spare you, but I will bring your ways upon you, and your abominations will be among you; then you will know that I am the LORD!' Ezekiel 7:4.
